Der neue Allen & Heath Xone 2D ist eine Kombination einer 4-Stereokanal USB Soundkarte mit einem MIDI Controller. Dem DJ wird damit ermöglicht den Allen & Heath Xone 2D sich an existente analoge Mixer anzuschließen und aktuelle DJ-Software wie Ableton Live und Traktor DJ Studio einfachst zu integrieren. Die erstklassige USB Soundkarte gestattet den Betriebsmodus Stereo für 3 Inputkanäle vom PC mit 1x Return bzw. 2 Inputkanäle vom PC mit 2x Return. Umfangreiche Anschlußmöglichkeiten gestatten die einfache Integration in jedes bestehende DJ-Setup - Digital I/O (coax und optisch) sind am Gerät vorhanden. Der MIDI Controller kann über USB an den Computer bzw. via 5-pin DIN an MIDI Geräte angeschlossen werden und ist mit 5 x 60mm Fadern, 8 Drehpotis, 19-Tasten (4 davon beleuchtet), 5 Encoder- Push to Switch Tasten und einem Multi-Funktions Jogg Wheel zur Navigation ausgerüstet.
